SYSmark* 2014 is a system-level performance benchmark that measures and compares PC performance using real world applications. Find out more at www.bapco.com.
Measured using Makerbot Desktop 3.3*. The workload file is a 2.4 MB model from the Thingiverse object database that is prepared for 3D printing. The file is exported using the "Low (Faster)" resolution option.
Measured using 3DMark* Ice Storm 1.2 Unlimited is a 3D graphics benchmark that measures 3D gaming performance. Find out more at www.futuremark.com.
Full HD video playback battery rundown-measured using a 1080p 10 Mbps H.264 Elephants Dream video. Configuration: In the device settings, disable all radios. Disable Intel® Display Power Saving Technology (Intel® DPST), set up the system to specified screen brightness using a full screen white background, and re-enable Intel DPST. Turn OFF the adaptive brightness setting under Power Options in Control Panel. Set "Dim the display" to never on both battery and AC. Set "Put the computer to sleep" to never on both battery and AC. Wait 15 minutes after boot. Launch the default video player (Windows* 8.1 Style UI video player for win), start the workload video in a loop, and disconnect the AC plug to start the test. Measure the time until battery is exhausted.
Intel® technologies’ features and benefits depend on system configuration and may require enabled hardware, software, or service activation. No computer system can be absolutely secure. Learn more at Intel.com or from the OEM or retailer.
Intel® Rapid Start Technology requires a select Intel® processor, Intel® software and BIOS update, and Intel® Solid-State Drive (Intel® SSD). Depending on system configuration, your results may vary. Contact your system manufacturer for more information.
CyberLink MediaEspresso 7* HD video conversion—convert a 6-minute, ~1 GB, 1920x1080p, 23738 kbps, MOV video file that one would have obtained from an iPhone* 4S. The file is transcoded to a smaller 1920x1080, 8 Mbps, H.264, .m2ts file for reduced file size during Internet transfers or for viewing on a portable device with bit rate such as an iPod*.
Measured using HDXPRT* 2014, a benchmark from Principled Technologies that measures your device performance using real commercial applications, like Photoshop* and iTunes*, to perform tasks based on three everyday scenarios: photo editing, video conversion, and music editing. It produces an overall score. Intel is a sponsor and member of the BenchmarkXPRT* Development Community, and was the major developer of the XPRT family of benchmarks. Principled Technologies is the publisher of the XPRT family of benchmarks. You should consult other information and performance tests to assist you in fully evaluating your contemplated purchases.
Measured using Microsoft Excel* 2013. Data from a source .xlsx data spreadsheet is extracted using a macro contained in a .xlsm file to create various tables and charts.
Measured using tasks performed in Microsoft Office* 2013 applications (Word*, Excel*, and PowerPoint*) and Neuxpower NXPowerLite Desktop 6.2.5*. While playing a 1080p 3 Mbps H.264 video, tasks are performed including saving a document as PDF, opening and working with an Excel .xlsx spreadsheet and PowerPoint .pptx presentation, and compressing the contents of a .docx and three .pptx files for email distribution.
Intel® technologies may require enabled hardware, specific software, or services activation. Check with your system manufacturer or retailer.
Intel® Wireless Display requires an Intel Wireless Display-enabled PC, tablet, or smartphone, a compatible adapter, and a TV. 1080p and Blu-ray* or other protected content playback only available on select Intel® processors with built-in visuals enabled. Consult your PC manufacturer. For more information, see http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/architecture-and-technology/intel-wireless-display.html.
No computer system can provide absolute security. Requires an enabled Intel® processor, enabled chipset, and firmware and software optimized to use the technologies. Consult your system manufacturer and software vendor for more information.
"Conflict free" and "conflict-free" means "DRC conflict free", which is defined by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission rules to mean products that do not contain conflict minerals (tin, tantalum, tungsten, and/or gold) that directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries. We also use the term "conflict-free" in a broader sense to refer to suppliers, supply chains, smelters, and refiners whose sources of conflict minerals do not finance conflict in the DRC or adjoining countries.
Software and workloads used in performance tests may have been optimized for performance only on Intel® microprocessors. Performance tests, such as SYSmark and MobileMark, are measured using specific computer systems, components, software, operations, and functions. Any change to any of those factors may cause the results to vary. You should consult other information and performance tests to assist you in fully evaluating your contemplated purchases, including the performance of that product when combined with other products. For more information, go to www.intel.com/benchmarks.
